There is no better way to make your studies come to life than visiting the places that our authors lived, wrote, and wrote about. The honors program awards credit to both Frederick M. Supper Scholars and honors associates for participating in these once in a lifetime opportunities. Some funding is available to help honors students participate in these programs.

In addition to Oxford, the honors program has also gone all of the world in connection with our study of the enduring conversation:

Art & Thought of the Reformation

GERMANY
Our students and Faculty have visited sites associated with Bach and Luther, which happen to be throughout the same region of Germany.

The Footsteps of Paul

TURKEY & GREECE
The honors program has traveled throughout Turkey and Greece in pursuit of Paul’s travels, the early Church, and the ancient world.

The Holy Land

ISRAEL
Along with PBA’s School of Ministry, honors students and professors visited the sacred sites of Israel and Jordan.

Italian Landscapes

ITALY
The honors program has been to places like Rome, Florence, Venice, and Assisi which are so important to Classical Rome, Medieval Europe, and the Renaissance Humanists.

Literary England

UNITED KINGDOM
Our travels have taken us to England not only for Oxford but also for semester-long study in London, to the Lake Country, Stratford, and Cambridge.
